Job Description
Senior Product Owner for Wealth Management platforms in the Financial Services domain.
Location: King of Prussia, PA (hybrid). Salary: USD 87,720 - 131,580 per year.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive the product roadmap for wealth management platforms, ensuring alignment with business goals and client needs.
- Convert user needs into well defined user stories and acceptance criteria, maintaining a prioritized backlog.
- Articulate and promote the product vision to the Scrum teams.
- Lead functional grooming sessions for user stories.
- Act as the primary contact for pre-sprint and in-sprint inquiries from the sprint team.
- Ensure the technical architecture and design support the current and future product direction.
- Oversee the acceptance process for user stories.
- Collaborate with advisors, marketing, compliance, and technology teams to deliver secure, high quality products.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies (planning, daily stand-ups, retros) and guide the team toward high value, scalable solutions.
- Translate business strategy, goals, and processes into a technical IT solution.
- Demonstrate strong familiarity with standard SDLC processes.
- Education: bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or technology.
- Show strong attention to detail, organization, decision-making, and self-management.
- Communicate effectively with senior management, both internally and externally.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Experience with databases and using SQL PL/SQL to create queries and validate data is a strong plus.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role.
- 5+ years of wealth management domain experience.
- 5+ years in system integration using APIs and data.
- 5+ years of proficiency in Scrum methodology and tools like JIRA.
