4d pipeline is seeking a Technical Product Manager focused on Omniverse and OpenUSD. This remote, part-time role steers product strategy, architecture, and delivery for sophisticated 3D graphics and digital twin initiatives. You will partner with client teams to crystallize a shared vision, prioritize features that drive business value, and guide cross-functional delivery with clarity and accountability.

Responsibilities
- Define and promote a clear product vision for Omniverse/OpenUSD projects, translating business needs into measurable features that create value for clients.
- Ensure requirements clarity, maintain architectural direction, and oversee delivery, code quality, development standards, and budget adherence.
- Lead software development teams across 3D focused domains such as WebGL, AR/VR, Unreal Engine, Nvidia Omniverse, Unity, AI, and cloud workloads, including industrial digital twins and simulation work.
- Collaborate closely with client teams to maintain open communication and effective project governance.
- Together with clients, steer the direction of the Omniverse Digital Twin and integrate factory simulation workflows (DES).
- Foster a high performing Agile culture built on trust, teamwork, empowerment, accountability, responsiveness, and clear success criteria; identify patterns that help or hinder progress.
- Minimize roadblocks and project risks while maximizing opportunities to keep team members productive and engaged; manage budgets and estimates and communicate changes as needed.
- Regularly discuss short and long term architectural objectives and advise on solution approaches where applicable.
- Start with one large project, with potential to extend into additional engagements in the future.
- Build trust and a sense of ownership, encouraging proactive responsibility across tasks and projects.
- Lead the creation of project specifications, estimates, and statements of work; break complex programs into definable tasks and milestones.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and collaborate with leads and production to plan, define, and scope features.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience.
- 5+ years of demonstrated management experience (projects and people).
- Proven hands-on experience with NVIDIA Omniverse, strong knowledge of OpenUSD (schema, custom attributes, layer composition, asset referencing), and broader Omniverse ecosystem; simulation and/or AI background within Omniverse as applicable.
- Experience defining high and low level system and software architecture, with solid object oriented design.
- Familiarity with iterative and agile software development principles.
- Ability to lead a product team and deliver tangible value to customers and the business.
- Computer Graphics background with hands-on experience across related technologies.
- 3D engine experience (Unreal Engine, Unity, NVIDIA Omniverse).
- Familiarity with the simulation and manufacturing domain (digital twins, discrete event simulation, factory and production workflows) is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, including mentorship ability.
- A passion for 3D graphics development and strong production skills with data driven decision making.
- Understanding of modern software engineering and delivering software on time and within budget.
- Familiar with a broad range of software design principles and able to provide clear direction, measurable goals, and insight into industry trends.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree.

Eligibility and engagement details
