UX Research Operations Lead

This onsite, Mountain View role leads UX research operations, giving you oversight of budgets, vendor relationships, and a contractor team, while advancing an AI enhanced, customer obsessed research lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Stand up and steer a research democratization program by building playbooks, templates, self-serve workflows, and guardrails that enable the broader UX, product, and engineering teams to connect with customers safely, ethically, and responsibly.
• Oversee the GeminiApp UXR budget, navigate complex procurement processes, and manage relationships with external research vendors and tool providers.
• Lead and mentor a compact, high‑performing team of contractors focused on participant recruitment, panel management, and operational support.
• Design and scale new initiatives that reduce friction for the entire UX organization to engage with customers, embedding a culture of deep customer obsession.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI, including Gemini, to streamline the research lifecycle from automated scheduling and repository tagging to AI‑driven synthesis and distribution of insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in Program Management, Operations, or a similar role supporting UX research, design, or product development teams.
• Proven track record of standing up operational programs from scratch in high-growth, fast-evolving technology environments.
