Agile Product Owner – Document AI
Job Description
The Enterprise Document AI System (DAISY) Product Owner at Bank of America maximizes value delivered by a dedicated Agile scrum team. In this onsite Charlotte role, you translate strategic intent into clear product execution while supporting enterprise adoption and scalable Artificial Intelligence capabilities.
Role Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Managers to deliver against the product vision, roadmap, and strategic priorities.
- Translate business objectives into features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery requirements.
- Own and maintain a prioritized product backlog aligned to program objectives and business value.
- Review, refine, and accept completed work to confirm requirements and quality expectations are met.
- Make day-to-day prioritization and scope decisions that support delivery objectives.
- Act as the primary Product Owner for a dedicated scrum team.
- Ensure backlog readiness by preparing sufficient work for upcoming sprints.
- Support adherence to Agile practices, sprint commitments, and team delivery routines.
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters and technology teams to remove blockers and improve team effectiveness.
- Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, continuous improvement, and delivery excellence.
- Coordinate with business, technology, data, and operational stakeholders to align delivery with business needs.
- Provide clear, timely updates on priorities, risks, dependencies, and progress.
- Manage stakeholder expectations while balancing competing priorities and delivery constraints.
- Build trusted partnerships across teams and challenge constructively when needed to drive outcomes.
- Support delivery of strategic AI capabilities within the DAISY program.
- Partner with AI and technology teams to translate emerging capabilities into business value.
- Contribute to the evolution of product management and Agile practices across the program.
- Help drive adoption of scalable AI solutions aligned to enterprise priorities.
