Job Description

Best Egg is seeking an Associate Product Operations Manager to support the company’s Product organization through day-to-day product operations and continuous improvement across the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC). This role partners with Product Leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen operational efficiency, alignment, and consistency from intake through delivery.

What you will do

  • Support the flow of work from intake through discovery, assessment, planning, and delivery by ensuring requests are complete, handoffs are clear, and the right information is available at the right time.
  • Act as a first line of review for incoming requests, working with stakeholders to gather required inputs and help ensure work is ready for Product review and decision-making.
  • Help prepare, coordinate, and facilitate recurring operating forums such as Weekly Business Reviews, roadmap reviews, stakeholder meetings, and leadership sessions, while ensuring materials are organized, decisions are recorded, and follow-up actions are tracked to completion.
  • Maintain the product management tech stack, focusing on workflow hygiene, documentation practices, and reporting accuracy, and flag opportunities to improve transparency and usability across Product and cross-functional teams.
  • Support operating processes including compliance reviews, cross-functional readiness, and other recurring governance needs that help Product engage effectively with the business.
  • Support execution of select cross-functional initiatives directed by the Senior Product Operations Manager and Product Managers, tracking alignment on scope, timelines, dependencies, and risks.
  • Gather and organize data, reporting, and operational insights to help Senior Product Operations leadership and Product Leadership identify trends and inform process improvements.
  • Help keep product operating processes, frameworks, and methodologies practical and fit for purpose, supporting rollouts of improvements with an emphasis on progress over perfection.
  • Support open communication and alignment between Product, Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Marketing, and other stakeholders so teams can work effectively toward shared goals.
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and documentation efforts led by the Senior Product Operations Manager and Product Leadership to build repeatable ways of working across the Product organization.

Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years in product operations, program management, project management, product management, or a similar role, ideally in a technology or product-focused environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with equivalent practical experience also welcomed.
  • Understanding of the full PDLC, including intake, discovery, assessment, planning, release, and cross-functional readiness.
  • Ability to work iteratively and pragmatically, improving team ways of working over time without over-engineering.
  • A logical and analytical mindset with comfort using data to support recommendations, paired with empathy for understanding stakeholder problems.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and resilience to change while managing multiple priorities across teams.
  • Experience working with task and workflow tools such as Jira, Linear, Asana, Productboard, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to help maintain and refine knowledge bases and documentation structures using tools such as Confluence or Notion.
  • Experience using product, process, or operational data to improve decision-making and surface relevant insights.
  • Experience supporting administration, adoption, and improvement of software tools and workflows.
  • Comfort supporting meetings and presentations with multiple stakeholders, with developing confidence facilitating and presenting.
  • Comfort collaborating with all levels of the business, including senior leaders and individual contributors, with a willingness to support change under the direction of Senior Product Operations leadership.

Location and compensation

  • Location: Remote (remote)
  • Salary: USD 80,000 - 105,000 per year
