Product Operations Manager
Job Description
In this role, you will optimize product operations, integrations, and performance across the booking lifecycle while partnering with product, technology, and external vendors.
Responsibilities
- Ensure products and services are optimized across booking, confirmation, and delivery workflows.
- Monitor daily key functionality and supplier performance.
- Partner with product and technology suppliers to improve efficiency and quality of booking, confirmation, and delivery processes.
- Lead initiatives that improve functional performance of partners and services, including hotels, sightseeing, transportation, and rail, using improved processes, technology, and vendor management.
- Coordinate with Product Development, Operations, and Guest Experience to maintain alignment and smooth communication.
- Use data and reporting to track and analyze product performance metrics and provide insights for product decision-making and prioritization.
- Work with Product Managers, Software Engineering, and Operations to support operational readiness for new launches, including documentation, training, and internal communications.
- Identify vendor and operational bottlenecks and propose solutions to reduce friction and support rapid growth.
- Engage key stakeholders to gather feedback, understand sales and operational challenges, and align on strategic initiatives.
- Develop and maintain reporting mechanisms to track progress on product initiatives and communicate status to leadership and other teams.
- Identify risks to product timelines and create action plans to mitigate them.
- Serve as the primary Product point of contact for Technology teams and external vendors throughout product integration.
- Partner with third-party suppliers and Technology teams to ensure API integrations meet business and operational requirements.
- Lead business validation for new integrations and enhancements, including booking flows, pricing, confirmations, cancellations, and overall customer experience before launch.
- Manage vendor certification by coordinating business testing, tracking progress, and ensuring required scenarios complete before production release.
- Collaborate with Technology, Operations, and vendors to identify, prioritize, and resolve issues found during testing and certification.
- Plan and coordinate rollouts for new products, supplier integrations, and enhancements to ensure operational readiness.
- Deliver training and knowledge transfer for Sales, Operations, Customer Service, and other internal teams for successful adoption.
- Monitor newly released products and integrations, collect business feedback, identify improvement opportunities, and work with Product and Technology teams to drive continuous enhancements.
- Own the business side of product implementations, ensuring integrations are validated, launched successfully, and aligned with business goals and customer expectations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in product and operations within the travel industry.
- Experience with sourcing technologies and connectivity is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Travel and Tourism, Hospitality, or related field.
- MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
- Ability to build, foster, and maintain relationships with hotel, sightseeing, and transportation partners.
- This directorate oversees partnerships, processes, and personnel.
- Strong analytical mindset using data and metrics to drive decision-making.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex ideas and align teams.
- Ability to identify sales and operational bottlenecks, propose solutions, and drive them to completion.
- Familiarity with project management tools and processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a track record of working effectively across functions and teams.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a high-growth tech or product-led company.
- Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools and methodologies.
- Experience working in a SaaS or B2B product environment.
- Knowledge of agile development frameworks.
Location Requirement
- Remote within Tennessee through February 28, 2027.
- Beginning March 1, 2027: in-office, 5 days per week (Monday to Friday) in Nashville, TN.
- Candidates must reside in Tennessee and be able to meet the Nashville in-office requirement.
