Job Description

The Banking Product Owner Senior Manager at Accenture defines the strategy, vision, and roadmap for the One Financial platform. This role serves as the primary liaison between business, engineering, and cross-functional teams to maximize platform value and drive adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Articulate a coherent product vision and strategic roadmap, balancing immediate delivery priorities with long term scalability and performance goals.
  • Represent customer and stakeholder perspectives, gathering input from experience, finance, technology, risk, compliance, and operations to inform product decisions.
  • Own and rank the backlog, crafting epics and user stories aligned to business value, risk considerations, and technical dependencies.
  • Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and UX teams to deliver high quality platform capabilities through Agile and Scrum practices.
  • Set and enforce platform standards including APIs, data models, and integration patterns to ensure consistency and interoperability.
  • Lead platform governance, overseeing versioning, lifecycle management, and backward compatibility across releases.
  • Track adoption, usage metrics, and realized value, using data-driven insights to guide prioritization and continuous improvement.
  • Align stakeholders, navigate trade-offs, and report progress, risks, and outcomes to leadership.
  • Support financial analyses and business cases, including return on investment, cost optimization, and decisions on platform investments.

Requirements

  • Ten or more years of combined experience in product management, consumer lending, or core banking.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
