Job Description

This Product Owner role partners closely with business teams and development to shape payment product direction and deliver measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, and supporting design and feature details.
  • Lead an agile team by driving outcomes and providing direction so development can execute against the product, feature, and roadmap.
  • Set release targets for features and enhancements, establish high-integrity commitments, and build and prioritize the team backlog.
  • Gather and compile customer research, monitor competitor trends, and present insights for product decisions.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders including call centers, back office, Compliance, Development, and Marketing to complete feature delivery.
  • Manage multiple digital products and platforms.
  • Interview, hire, and train new staff.
  • Provide constructive and timely performance reviews and handle discipline and termination in accordance with company policy.

Requirements

  • Customer-centric approach with the ability to identify customer needs.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Detail-oriented focus on delivering high-quality products that meet customer needs and drive business value.
  • Scrum Product Owner Certification (or similar Product Owner certification) required and must be maintained while in this position.
  • 4+ years managing digital products at a financial institution, including (but not limited to) voice, chat, email, and social media, for marketing.
  • 3+ years agile development experience preferred, or an advanced understanding of digital and IT product management and development.
  • Ability to align and implement ongoing and future investment in digital platforms with the company’s overall business plan.

  • Drive payment product outcomes by aligning product vision with business goals.
  • Focus on secure, seamless, and efficient payment experiences while aligning cross-functional teams around product goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the UX and feature roadmap for payment products.

  • Location: Sioux Falls, SD 57105 (onsite)
  • Job status: Full-Time
  • Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
