Job Description

Quorum Software is seeking a product leader to own the Quorum Upstream & Midstream Platform, including the shared data and integration layer and the services that support Quorum’s energy applications. This Director-level Product Manager role will shape platform vision and roadmap, validate market needs through research and customer engagement, and guide ideas from concept to launch across internal and external stakeholders.

Platform Product Focus

You will own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Quorum Upstream & Midstream Platform. Scope includes the shared data and integration layer, the Quorum Agentic Platform, ontology-based data products, document and knowledge management, and a unified portal layer that provides access to key platform capabilities.

Market and Customer Discovery

The role includes identifying market problems and use cases for data platforms serving the energy value chain. You will define market requirements through market research supported by ongoing customer visits and participation in conferences and tradeshows. Responsibilities also include maintaining awareness of data platform and software industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure Quorum’s offerings remain aligned to developments in the market.

Stakeholder Balancing

This position will balance two distinct customer sets: internal application teams that build on the platform and external customers and partners who consume platform data, APIs, and services. You will establish clear expectations for engineering teams to deliver value, while ensuring release planning reflects shared platform goals.

Roadmaps, Business Strategy, and Adoption Metrics

You will create and maintain product roadmaps driven by overall platform strategy, including ideas, features, and initiatives as they progress through approval and release. Partnering with Finance, Strategy, and Sales, you will contribute to packaging and pricing for platform capabilities, including subscription, consumption, and entitlement models, and help build business cases connecting platform investment to commercial outcomes.

You will define and track platform adoption and health metrics such as API consumption, data volumes, tenant onboarding time, and delivery velocity of teams building on the platform. You will also identify and prioritize opportunities aligned with corporate strategy, with outcomes that support increased product sales, customer retention, and improved efficiency, including reduced support and/or implementation requirements. Competitive landscape work will inform decisions using strengths, weaknesses, and marketplace opportunities.

Execution, Enablement, and Go-to-Market Alignment

You will work with the product development team to define product release user stories and requirements. In parallel, you will coordinate with marketing on go-to-market strategy and with sales channels to support understanding of product positioning, key benefits, and target customer needs. You will also develop and maintain product documentation and user guides, including developer- and API-facing materials.

Ongoing cross-functional communication will be central to the role, including clear information flow throughout the release cycle with the Engineering Lead. You will evangelize the platform vision both internally and externally, including communicating market problems and user personas.
