Product manager - Data management

JPMorganChase is hiring a Product Manager for Data Management to lead the end-to-end lifecycle of infrastructure platform offerings. This role sits within the company’s Corporate Functions and focuses on shaping product strategy, translating customer needs into roadmap priorities, and coordinating delivery across teams.

Role overview

The Product Manager, Infrastructure Platform, will drive product strategy and customer value by owning discovery, backlog, success metrics, and launch coordination. You will monitor performance, use data to guide decisions, and partner closely with engineering and design to deliver products that meet reliability and risk expectations.

Responsibilities

• Develop product strategy and product vision focused on delivering customer value
• Lead discovery and market research to identify customer solutions and integrate findings into the roadmap
• Own, maintain, and evolve the product backlog to support the strategic roadmap and value proposition
• Define the framework for key product success metrics, tracking outcomes such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to uncover opportunities
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to deliver high-quality products on time
• Collect and analyze user feedback to inform product improvements
• Work with developers to manage the Jira board
• Monitor product performance and make data-driven decisions
• Coordinate product launches and go-to-market strategies

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience, or equivalent expertise, in product management or a relevant domain area
• Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
• Proven ability to lead product lifecycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
• Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies

Compensation and benefits

• Base salary of USD 133,000 - 215,000 per year, determined based on role, experience, skill set, and location
• Eligible roles may receive commission-based pay and/or discretionary incentive compensation, paid in the form of cash and/or forfeitable equity
