Job Description
Availity, LLC. is looking for a strategic, execution-oriented Director of Product Operations to build and scale operational excellence across its product organization. This role is central to cross-functional alignment, improved planning and governance, and enabling product teams to deliver efficiently at scale, with visibility into performance and customer outcomes.
What you will do
- Develop and lead the Product Operations function to support product strategy, planning, execution, and measurement.
- Establish scalable processes, frameworks, and operating rhythms across Product, Engineering, Design, Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing.
- Drive product portfolio planning, roadmap governance, prioritization frameworks, and quarterly business reviews.
- Build reporting systems and dashboards to track product performance, delivery metrics, customer outcomes, and operational KPIs.
- Partner with Product leadership to improve decision-making through data analysis, insights, and business intelligence.
- Optimize product development lifecycle processes, including intake, prioritization, release management, and post-launch reviews.
- Lead tooling and systems strategy for product management platforms, workflows, and documentation standards.
- Facilitate cross-functional communication and alignment to maintain organizational transparency and execution consistency.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives across teams.
- Support strategic initiatives including organizational scaling, change management, and process transformation.
- Manage and mentor Product Operations team members and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in Product Operations, Product Management, Program Management, Strategy & Operations, or related functions.
- 3+ years of people leadership experience managing high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of product development methodologies including Agile, Scrum, and Lean practices.
- Proven experience implementing operational processes and scaling cross-functional organizations.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience using data visualization and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and executive stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with product management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Aha!, Productboard, Confluence, Asana, or similar platforms.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting SaaS, technology, or digital product organizations.
- Familiarity with OKRs, product analytics, and customer feedback systems.
- Experience leading organizational change initiatives or PMO transformations.
- Strong financial, forecasting, and resource planning capabilities.
