Job Description

The FLEX Manager, Product Owner oversees the backlog of Loyalty Financial related technical capabilities for Beacon, guided by the Loyalty Finance and Operations organizations, and collaborates with business and technical teams within a matrixed environment.

Location

Bethesda, MD (hybrid)

Compensation

USD 46 - 70 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a well-structured backlog of Loyalty Financial features with refined user stories and technically sound solutions ready for development.
  • Contribute to defining new features and optimizing existing ones, integrating them into the product roadmap.
  • Support the definition of Ambassador product requirements and the development of the product roadmap.
  • Provide clear vision and scope documentation, use cases, workflows, and wireframes to guide development.
  • Coordinate with support teams to resolve defects.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to colleagues inside and outside the department.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of relevant issues, products, systems, and processes.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with function-specific procedures.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge and apply new insights to the role.
  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams in support of key business priorities.
  • Solve problems quickly, think strategically, and drive data-driven decision making.
  • Manage multiple projects and aggressive timelines concurrently.
  • Build strong interpersonal relationships across all levels and drive consensus through influence and evidence-based reasoning.
  • Communicate effectively in written and oral forms with sensitivity to global communication needs.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
  • Demonstrate self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm in leading and influencing teams.
  • Proficient in Office software products and digital collaboration tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, preferably in technology or business, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in a relevant business, technology, sales and marketing, management operations, or related area.
  • Five years of experience across business, technology, sales and marketing, management operations, or related professional area.
  • At least four years of experience converting business needs into technology requirements.
