Job Description

Canary Technologies is hiring for a Product Operations leader to build and run the operating system for the product organization, with an emphasis on analytics, lifecycle processes, and PM onboarding.

Responsibilities

  • Own the analytics stack end to end (including Omni and Amplitude): instrumentation standards, event taxonomy, metric definitions, and dashboard hygiene
  • Design and maintain the NPS/CSAT measurement architecture across each product
  • Own the alpha beta GA process and the EPD GTM communication that runs on top of it, including RACI per phase and handoff gates for clarity on who communicates what and when
  • Manage communication and process changes for existing products
  • Own the voice-of-customer loop between GTM, Support, and the product org, including strategic account calls that surface prioritization signals
  • Build new-PM onboarding as a designed program tied to the PM ladder, with consistent ramp outcomes regardless of who runs it
  • Take on assigned one-off, high-leverage initiatives such as offsites, annual planning, and cross-functional initiatives

Requirements

  • 7+ years in product operations, strategy & operations, analytics, or a related role, ideally in B2B SaaS and scaled through complexity
  • Demonstrated ability to build durable systems (not just manage tasks), with ownership of infrastructure that continues working after you move to the next priority
  • Strong SQL and hands-on experience with BI and analytics tools (Omni, Amplitude, Looker, or similar), including building dashboards and data models yourself
  • Track record owning KPI frameworks and instrumentation standards across multiple products and stakeholders
  • Program-management capability to run the alpha beta GA lifecycle process across a multi-product org while maintaining operational detail
  • Excellent communication skills to translate operational complexity into clear frameworks and align engineers, PMs, and execs

Compensation

  • Target cash compensation: $200,000-$240,000 per year, including fixed annual salary and a performance-based bonus paid quarterly
  • Stock option grant included, subject to board approval
  • Actual compensation will be commensurate with skill level, experience, and specific work location

Bonus

  • Experience in hospitality tech
  • Experience in enterprise SaaS with strategic accounts
  • Experience scaling product analytics at a growth-stage company

Benefits

  • Canary Days: company-wide days off each month to ensure at least one extended weekend or day off
  • Self Improvement Club: budget provided for purchases that support individual improvement goals
  • Professional Development Chats: budget for cross-functional professional development conversations across the organization
  • Travel Reimbursement: travel stipend to visit offices across New York, San Francisco, or Dallas
  • Personal Travel Reimbursement: credit toward hotel stays if you stay at a hotel Canary works with

Location

  • New York, NY (onsite)
