IT and Digital Product Owner III

The IT and Digital Product Owner III role at Frost Bank focuses on translating product strategy into well-tested software while improving user experience across complex digital initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and functional input to design, maintain, build, integrate, and test complex software components
• Continuously create and improve the user experience
• Partner with development teams to optimize workflow and deliver top-quality products on time
• Lead product ownership execution for complex roadmaps, including interpreting requirements and writing user stories to guide development
• Coordinate with the development team to define and iterate the product based on the strategy
• Ensure product delivery timing by optimizing the development team workflow
• Resolve current issues and prevent future issues in the development process to meet requirements
• Partner with the product manager by socializing solutions and seeking feedback to support deliverables
• Provide guidance and leadership to other Product Owners across the enterprise
• Take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to drive all-win outcomes

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a directly related field
• 4 years of experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, in a digital environment
• 4 years of experience in product ownership or product management of a digital product or platform end-to-end, including:
  • Defining the vision and roadmap
  • Capturing business requirements
  • Prioritizing backlog items
  • Collaborating with stakeholders, developers, and QA to deliver iterative value
• 4 years of experience in customer experience management, including engaging end-users and business stakeholders to:
  • Gather feedback
  • Define customer journeys
  • Improve product usability and adoption
• 4 years of experience in business analysis, including:
  • Documenting current-state and future-state processes
  • Writing user stories or acceptance criteria
  • Performing gap analysis to ensure business requirements are met
• 4 years of experience in banking, finance, or a related product area
• 2 years of experience with Microsoft computer applications, including:
  • Using PowerPoint and Excel to build visually appealing decks with SmartArt, transitions, embedded media, and custom layouts
  • Using functions including IF, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, conditional formatting, and building summary reports
