IT Product Management Specialist - Associate - Product Owner - Shared Services

Join a team that focuses on delivering high-quality IT solutions aligned to product priorities, technical standards, and organizational goals. In this onsite role in Spring, TX, you will partner across functions to translate product direction into dependable delivery, manage product-facing performance, and validate that releases deliver value to end users. You will also help drive roadmap progress through clear prioritization, iteration evaluation, and dependency management.

What you will do

• Set delivery priorities for the Delivery Team’s backlog across both planned and unplanned work, balancing new functionality, technical debt reduction, and enabler work based on product vision and roadmap.
• Own product-facing metrics with business partners by managing dashboards and using metrics to guide product and delivery decisions.
• Validate release value by ensuring product releases deliver value for end users and by discussing how well the product is working with users.
• Ensure readiness for completion by confirming acceptance criteria are met before accepting user stories as completed.
• Decompose features into user stories that provide incremental value, ensuring items are clear and ready for the team to work.
• Support planning and estimation by working with delivery teams to estimate effort and providing input for program prioritization.
• Coordinate with System Architects to identify and prioritize enabler work.
• Contribute in team ceremonies to answer questions, provide clarity, and keep work aligned.
• Identify and manage dependencies to support smooth iteration and delivery.
• Evaluate progress each iteration and assess progress against iteration goals.
• Partner on roadmap and release planning with Product Managers by developing product roadmap and release plans and aligning team-level constraints with program expectations.
• Drive alignment and issue resolution through strong communication and facilitation across technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Information Technology or a related technical field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Information Technology
• Minimum 5 years in IT project/product management
• Experience in the Oil & Gas or Manufacturing industry
• Ability to collaborate in a global environment
• Broad understanding of how IT and Infrastructure systems work
