This is a hybrid role within the Financial & Corporate Compliance unit, focused on shaping AI-enabled user experiences through strategic research leadership.

Location: Minneapolis, MN, hybrid work arrangement. Salary: USD 118,300 to 207,400 per year. The position combines senior level CX and UX research leadership with close collaboration across Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Design to inform strategy, design, and delivery using user insights.

Responsibilities

  • Define the long term vision and strategy for user experience research for the segment, aligning with business objectives and goals in partnership with Leaders in Product Management, UX Design, and Engineering.
  • Provide close collaboration with senior business stakeholders and development heads to deliver world class experiences through data driven decision making.
  • Work with Product Managers to understand business goals at both portfolio and product levels.
  • Plan and execute user research initiatives using a mix of generative and evaluative methods, adapting to varying levels of complexity.
  • Coordinate generative and evaluative studies of differing intricacy and methodologies.
  • Partner with embedded UX design leads and teams to evaluate prototypes and solutions with customers.
  • Help product teams develop a deep understanding of user needs, behaviors, and motivations.
  • Ensure research findings, data, and insights inform design decisions and validate solutions across products.
  • Foster a culture of feedback and metrics to drive continuous improvement in the user experience.
  • Apply AI assisted data analysis techniques to accelerate synthesis of qualitative and quantitative research data, including clustering themes and identifying patterns across large datasets.
  • Utilize AI supported persona development and segmentation to evolve evidence based user archetypes grounded in behavioral and contextual data.
  • Contribute to AI enabled journey mapping and experience modeling approaches to help product teams reason about complex multi step workflows.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data Science to evaluate and shape AI systems that support research operations, customer intelligence, and experience measurement.
  • Critically assess AI generated insights for bias, validity, explainability, and alignment with user needs, regulatory constraints, and ethical design principles.
  • Guide stakeholders on where AI meaningfully enhances research and decision making while identifying scenarios where human led research remains essential.
  • Work with cross functional teams to ensure alignment and a shared understanding of user experience goals.
  • Communicate status and metrics regularly to management and stakeholders in a transparent manner.
  • Advocate for standard processes that ensure quality and consistency, and promote a cohesive approach across the business group or division.
  • Involve all members of cross functional teams in research and analysis efforts.
  • Stay current with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in user experience research.
  • Provide thought leadership on emerging UX trends and innovations and keep abreast of new practices, innovations, and tools.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant research experience.
  • Significant experience collaborating with senior clients, stakeholders, and developers.
  • Record of driving large scale culture change that improves business performance.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience working in a Lean or Agile development environment.
  • Strong time and project management capabilities.
  • Some experience in the Finance and Compliance domain is preferred.
  • Some experience with organizational change management.
