Job Description
The Manager, Global Make to Deliver Engineering & Maintenance Product Owner (MTD) at 3M will use manufacturing and plant expertise to define operational functionality and value, lead capability across Engineering and Maintenance systems, and coordinate with global teams to reflect plant operating changes. The role also includes leading, mentoring, and scaling a global IT professional team in a distributed environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Use manufacturing and plant knowledge to define operational functionality and value.
- Lead the manufacturing process capability for Engineering and Maintenance systems across 3M.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align global capability with plant operating changes.
- Evaluate design and operational issues related to Engineering and Maintenance applications and support resolution.
- Lead gap solutioning and alternative problem solving.
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing global team of IT professionals, including work across distributed geography, language, and culture.
- Ensure corporate policies, procedures, and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties.
- Contribute to an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) culture by following safety policies, identifying hazards, and engaging in continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
- Three (3) years of Enterprise Operations and/or Business Group manufacturing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
- Three (3) years of systems experience with IT, OT, or business process.
- Three (3) years of experience leading projects in a private, public, government, or military environment.

Compensation
The expected compensation range for this position is $188,251 - $230,084 per year, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible.

Work Location, Schedule, and Travel
- Location: Maplewood, MN (onsite).
- On-site working model: Employee is required to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN.
- Travel: May include up to 10%.
