Job Description
Morgan Stanley is seeking a Mobile Product Manager, Assistant Vice President in New York, NY to support and modernize Morgan Stanley Wealth Management and E*TRADE mobile applications. This onsite role focuses on product delivery and execution for retail mobile platforms, with an emphasis on improving client engagement, adoption, and alignment with enterprise architecture, security, accessibility, and regulatory requirements.
What you’ll do
- Act as Product Owner for a dedicated full-stack agile team delivering critical mobile, web, and API-enabled capabilities.
- Own delivery from concept through launch, balancing customer needs, business objectives, regulatory requirements, and technical constraints.
- Lead cross-functional execution across Product, Engineering, UX, QA, Compliance, Risk, and Operations to deliver high-quality solutions at scale.
- Define and maintain a prioritized product backlog, translating business goals into epics, features, and user stories.
- Drive agile execution through backlog refinement, sprint planning, release planning, and delivery prioritization.
- Partner with Engineering and Architecture to evaluate solutions and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
- Coordinate product launches and post-release activities, monitoring performance and customer feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Communicate product strategy, delivery progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Maintain deep knowledge of wealth management, digital investing, mobile industry trends, competitor capabilities, and emerging technologies.
- Use customer research, analytics, and market insights to identify opportunities that improve engagement, adoption, and client satisfaction.
- Work with analytics teams to define and measure product success, ensuring decisions are driven by data and measurable outcomes.
- Analyze customer behavior and feedback to prioritize enhancements and inform roadmap decisions.
- Contribute to the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Morgan Stanley’s mobile experiences, aligning customer needs with business and enterprise priorities.
- Gather and prioritize feedback from customers, stakeholders, frontline teams, and market research to identify product opportunities and strategic investments.
- Develop business cases for key initiatives, incorporating customer demand, market dynamics, competitive analysis, and expected business impact.
- Define and communicate KPIs, roadmap progress, and product outcomes to stakeholders and senior leadership.
What you bring
- 5-8 years of experience in digital product management, with strong knowledge of client-facing mobile, web, and API-based digital experiences.
- Strong understanding of financial services, wealth management, brokerage, or related digital financial products and customer experiences.
- Superior analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, including written, verbal, and technical communication, plus presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving capability.
- Experience managing projects across conceptualization, requirements, design, development, testing, and implementation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies preferred.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized team player who can manage multiple initiatives under deadline constraints.
- BA/BS in business, marketing, computer science, or a related field.
Compensation: USD 85,000 - 140,000 per year.
