Job Description

Based in Seattle, WA onsite, the Principal Product Manager, Technical, Database Services role at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. offers a salary range of USD 181,100 to 245,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Own the RDS Console, the primary interface customers use to manage their database infrastructure, and reshape the console experience for the next generation of AWS builders.
  • Drive platform capabilities at massive scale, including systems that orchestrate upgrades across millions of database instances.
  • Define how we keep customers informed through notifications and the AWS Health console, ensuring visibility into critical infrastructure events.
  • Empower customers with greater control over patching and upgrades, turning a traditionally anxious process into a self-service, confidently managed experience.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager.
  • 5+ years of hands-on technical experience in software development, networking, IT, or related fields.
  • Proven success delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS, or LaaS products with end-to-end ownership from concept through go-to-market.
