Product Manager
Job Description
The Product Manager for Abbott's Lingo product in Alameda, CA leads the product vision, collaborates across cross functional teams, and delivers end-to-end features from inception to production.
Responsibilities
- Partner with product managers, designers, engineers, clinical experts and regulatory experts to execute on the product vision.
- Develop deep understanding of customers and their needs to challenge the status quo, identify new solutions, and uncover gaps to grow market share and improve the user experience.
- Translate the product vision and leverage market and industry knowledge to create detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Make informed tradeoffs by scoping and prioritizing activities based on customer impact and business value.
- Define and own the end-to-end delivery strategy from inception to production, including product features, roadmaps, and OKRs.
- Meet with stakeholders to regularly review progress and surface impediments that require attention.
- Demonstrate urgency and ownership while collaborating closely with design and engineering to deliver the best user experience.
- Manage the product lifecycle from launch through sunsetting, analyzing performance and guiding improvements, additions, and updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Two years of experience taking well-loved features or products from concept to launch.
- Two years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, marketing, and other stakeholders in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Proven track record of obsessing over the customer and launching strong user experiences using research, insights, and data to drive decisions.
- Experience launching mobile apps, preferably in a regulated environment.
- Experience presenting to and influencing internal and external stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
