Product Manager
Job Description
Uber is seeking a Product Manager to lead the strategy and development of support solutions for its new business ventures. This onsite role in Sunnyvale, California sits at the intersection of product, operations, and customer experience, spanning mobile, web, and voice platforms. You will define roadmaps, drive cross-functional execution, and measure impact to guide growth and improve service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Shape the strategy and execution of support solutions to deliver outstanding customer experiences across mobile, web, and voice channels for Uber's new businesses.
- Define the roadmap and lead delivery of support solutions for new business initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Core Product team and the global community operations group to design efficient and scalable customer support experiences.
- Internalize Uber's mission and the team's objectives to guide product direction accordingly.
- Gather data from competitive intel, user behavior, and other business metrics to inform product decisions.
- Lead cross-functional teams to establish qualitative objectives and quantitative goals.
- Drive innovation and planning for roadmaps and new product features aligned with team and company goals.
- Make tradeoffs based on technical and business insights and experimentation.
- Monitor launched products and loop insights back into development to foster growth.
- Communicate product plans, benefits, and results to internal stakeholders, executives, employees, and customers as appropriate.
- May telecommute.
Requirements
- 4 years of experience in Product Management in software and app development
- 4 years driving product roadmap definition with a clear vision, goals, and timelines
- 4 years of experience in AI/ML, including generative AI and NLP
- 4 years in data science and analysis: interpreting data, designing A/B tests, identifying data-driven insights, applying statistical analyses, evaluating product performance, and making data-driven decisions
- 4 years of strategic thinking: developing a clear product vision and defining product strategy
- 4 years of stakeholder management: collaborating with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Operations, and Legal
- 4 years of technical design: API design and cloud technologies (AWS or GCP)
- 4 years of user experience and workflow design: creating workflows across mobile and web platforms
- 4 years of customer support automation: building process automation and support tooling
- Bachelor's degree
