Product Manager

Own the path from customer needs to product roadmaps and launch decisions in a cross-functional, matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Collect, synthesize, and integrate customer insights to shape and refine product roadmaps and plans
• Drive major product introductions from early concept through full launch execution
• Set pricing approaches and define margin targets for new products
• Create product positioning and develop go-to-market launch strategies
• Provide ongoing updates to executive and cross-functional leadership on priorities, progress, and key decisions
• Build business cases and establish growth targets for new product investments
• Track product portfolio health and manage lifecycle strategy, including end-of-life planning

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in a technical field such as engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline
• MBA preferred
• If you have less than 10 years of work experience, a minimum cumulative 3.00 GPA is required
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in cross-functional roles; leadership experience strongly preferred
• Experience required in product development, product management, or product marketing
• Experience in construction, IoT, or lighting industries is beneficial but not required
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 25%
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require Lutron to sponsor a work visa (including H-1B) immediately or in the future; Lutron does not offer work visa sponsorship for this position
