Product Manager

DSJ Global is seeking a Product Manager in Delphi, IN (onsite) to lead strategic category planning and drive sustainable growth for a focused bacon portfolio. In this role, you will own long-term category strategy while optimizing the levers that impact profitability and revenue, working closely with cross-functional teams to align forecasting, commercial execution, and operational performance.

What you’ll own

• Provide strategic leadership for growth, profitability, and long-term category strategy across the bacon portfolio.
• Design and execute pricing, assortment, inventory, and margin optimization strategies to meet annual profit and revenue objectives.
• Serve as the primary category expert, delivering market insights, product guidance, pricing recommendations, and sales strategies.
• Lead product performance analysis, including break-even modeling, customer reviews, and data-driven decision making to maximize category profitability.
• Negotiate and support customer pricing, trade agreements, RFPs, and assortment expansion initiatives in partnership with commercial leadership.
• Monitor supply-demand balance, service levels, product specifications, and operational performance, while building cross-functional processes to improve efficiency and category results.

How you’ll work with others

You’ll partner with Sales, FP&A, Operations, and Planning to align forecasting, inventory management, production planning, and commercial execution around category plans.

What you bring

• 5+ years of direct experience in bacon, pork, meat processing, or broader protein manufacturing, with deep category expertise.
• Proven experience in product management, category management, or business unit leadership, with ownership of category growth and profitability.
• Demonstrated P&L responsibility, including pricing strategy, margin management, inventory optimization, and revenue growth.
• Strong analytical skills, including experience using syndicated market data (IRI, Nielsen, Circana, etc.).
• Bachelor’s degree required.
