Product Manager
Job Description
Cvent is looking for a Product Manager to lead planner enablement strategy and execution for Attendee Hub. In this hybrid role in Tysons Corner, VA, you will own the roadmap and measurable outcomes for AI-powered experiences anchored in the Cvent Assistant, working closely with engineering, design, and data science to define what gets built and how quality is validated.
What you’ll do
- Own the end-to-end roadmap and execution for planner-facing AI experiences in Attendee Hub, extending the Cvent Assistant across configuration, designer, and core workflow surfaces.
- Use AI as a default lens in discovery, clarifying how AI improves the job to be done before translating insights into requirements.
- Lead the end-to-end development of AI-powered features by defining “good” through structured evals, including building eval datasets, writing LLM-as-judge prompts, and monitoring quality in production.
- Apply AI fluently day to day for research, synthesis, prototyping, and analysis, and model those practices for the broader team.
- Run continuous discovery through weekly customer conversations, early assumption testing, and working prototypes instead of relying on slide decks.
- Drive prioritization decisions using Mixpanel, Sigma, and ProductBoard, answering your own questions with evidence rather than waiting on analyst support.
- Lead a dedicated sprint team, managing backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and delivery cadence.
- Write short, opinionated specs that pair with working prototypes and evals, including clear acceptance criteria ready before sprint start.
- Serve as the single point of accountability for product decisions in your domain, surfacing deviations with a proposed remedy.
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success for go-to-market launches and post-release adoption.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in B2B SaaS.
- Experience designing and shipping AI-powered features, including hands-on work with prompt engineering and evals.
- Fluency with AI prototyping tools such as Lovable, v0, Claude, or Cursor to produce artifacts that support discovery.
- Proficiency with analytics platforms including Mixpanel, Sigma, Pendo, or similar, with comfort defining KPIs and making evidence-based decisions without analyst support.
- Proven ability to run your own customer interviews and synthesize feedback into product direction.
- Experience partnering with engineering teams in an Agile/Scrum/Kanban environment, with a solid grasp of software development and system design.
- Exceptional communication skills with direct, clear recommendations grounded in reasoning.
- Ability to self-start in ambiguous problem spaces and bring options, not just problems.
