Product Manager

TypeSafe AI is seeking a Product Manager to shape the product direction and experience of Jev. The role focuses on translating rapidly evolving model capabilities into user-facing product experiences, defining what to build next, and driving execution from early ideas through launch and iteration.

About the Role

As a Product Manager at TypeSafe AI, you will work closely with the CEO and engineering teams to help bring frontier AI capabilities to developers and users. You will think strategically about where Jev should go, then dive into product details by speaking with developers, analyzing usage data, and shipping improvements. You will also contribute significant ownership and influence over both the product itself and how it is built.

Responsibilities

• Help shape the product direction and experience of Jev with the CEO and engineering teams, bringing frontier AI capabilities to developers and users
• Translate rapidly evolving model capabilities into compelling product experiences
• Identify what to build next
• Drive execution from early ideas through launch and iteration
• Think strategically about where Jev should be headed
• Dive into product details, talk to developers, analyze usage data, and ship improvements
• Define an exciting new AI product from the ground up
• Provide significant ownership and influence over both the product and how TypeSafe AI builds it

Requirements

• Responsible, ownership-inclined, and a team player; a mindset of taking initiative and getting things done
• Experience building and shipping technical products from 0 to 1, ideally for developers
• Strong technical intuition, with the ability to go deep on architecture, tradeoffs, and product decisions with engineers
• Exceptional product taste, able to turn user feedback into clear priorities and product requirements
• Comfortable moving fast, working hard, and making decisions with incomplete information
• Mission aligned and excited to commit deeply to the work
• Love being part of a team

Preferred Background

• Previously built products for developers
• 5+ years of product management experience, ideally building highly technical products at a company with a high product and engineering bar
• Experience taking products from 0 to 1 and scaling them
• Experience building developer-facing products, APIs, or infrastructure tools, and understanding what makes for a strong developer experience

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary of $150k–250k plus equity, based on leveling
• Compensation range: $150K - $300K
