Product Manager

Shape product growth strategy for Fisher FIELDVUE control valve instruments at Emerson in Marshalltown, IA.

Responsibilities

• Research customer needs, industry trends, and competitive offerings.
• Run voice-of-customer research and convert findings into target markets, value propositions, product strategy, business cases, and product requirements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, customers, and channel partners to align product vision, priorities, and development plans.
• Manage field trials and new product introductions, including early-customer adoption, launch collateral, product bulletins, and training.
• Track bookings, market participation, run rates, quote conversion, and other business metrics; recommend actions to improve performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Experience across market research, business cases, product strategy, product requirements, and/or go-to-market planning.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage technical, commercial, and leadership audiences.
• Capability to build global relationships.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 10%.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship will not be provided for this role.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or advanced business degree.
• Five (5) or more years of relevant experience in process engineering, sales, business development, product management, or product marketing.
• Knowledge of process control, control valves, related applications, customers, and competitors.
