Product Manager
Job Description
Broadridge Financial Solutions is seeking a Product Manager to assess customer needs and market competition, shape present and future product lines, and support the launch of new products through disciplined planning, analysis, and cross-functional coordination.
Location and Compensation
- Location: Newark, NJ (hybrid)
- Compensation: USD 110,000 - 130,000 per year plus benefits
- Bonus: Bonus eligible
Core Responsibilities
- Identify customers’ needs and evaluate market competition.
- Recommend the nature and scope of current and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraise new product ideas and/or product and packaging changes.
- Bring new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs.
- Prepare return-on-investment analyses and establish time schedules with engineering and manufacturing.
- Introduce and market new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, advertising, and production.
- Determine product pricing and complete operational requirements.

- Demonstrate specific functional expertise typically developed through formal education.
- Provide guidance to others as a project manager using technical expertise.
- Bring in-depth knowledge and experience to resolve complex problems.
- Use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.
- Solve complex problems and take a new perspective using existing solutions, using judgment based on analysis of multiple sources of information.
- Work independently with minimal guidance.
- Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements.
- Understand and apply procedures and concepts within own discipline, with basic knowledge of other disciplines.
- Know best practices and how the own area integrates with others, including awareness of competition and market differentiators.
- Explain difficult or sensitive information and work to build consensus.
- Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within the team and related teams, working within broad guidelines and policies.
