Job Description

Esri is seeking a Product Manager to guide ArcGIS Instant Apps, shaping the product vision, roadmaps, and priorities that drive customer-focused development. This onsite role in Redlands, CA sits at the intersection of geospatial technology and user-facing web apps, coordinating with product, marketing, and partner teams to transform maps into interactive applications. The position offers a salary range of USD 95,160 to 157,456 per year and requires a bachelor’s degree or higher along with at least two years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Set the product vision, definition, strategy, and priorities
  • Own the product vision for AI features and capabilities by identifying and validating opportunities where AI can create value for Instant App users
  • Monitor and synthesize customer requirements from various feedback channels, prioritize them, and share with the development team for collaboration and direction
  • Document customer interviews and product requirements in alignment with existing Product Management processes and systems
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of current capabilities, technology, market demand, and competition
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to produce marketing materials, social media content, public and internal communications, including product launches, event messaging, blogs, and web page content
  • Work with global business development, the partner team, and distributors to develop and execute go-to-market strategies
  • Develop and present demonstrations and messaging to strategic customers and internal stakeholders
  • Align with other product managers on a consistent overall platform strategy

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a technical or product-related role such as product management, product engineering, technical support, or sales engineering
  • Effective verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Active listening and curiosity about others' work, experience, and perspective
  • Ability to translate customers' business needs, technical needs, and existing workflows into actionable requirements and problems-to-solve
  • Passion for continuous improvement and the patience to thrive in a dynamic environment; strong teamwork
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity by using professional judgment without direct oversight
  • Travel readiness for 10–20% of time to customer sites, conferences, trade shows, and other strategic meetings
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field or business
