Responsibilities
- Establish and enforce department processes and best practices across the team
- Ensure team members have the tools, knowledge, and skills to deliver on assigned work
- Be accountable for individual and team productivity measurements
- Conduct ongoing career development and performance evaluations in addition to the annual review cycle
- Own the 12-month prioritized product roadmap and the feature-level backlog, aligning the team around high-value outcomes
- Research emerging market and technology needs to influence the market roadmap and drive differentiation
- Use data to validate roadmap prioritization and proposed solutions, ensuring problems are worth solving
- Build deep domain knowledge of business, user, and client needs to identify opportunities
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the assigned product and market
- Apply AI-assisted tools across the Software Development Lifecycle to improve quality and speed to value
- Lead AI-informed product discovery with stakeholders to identify high-value use cases and assess feasibility, risk, and impact
- Oversee AI experimentation and prototyping to validate assumptions and inform decisions
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure AI solutions meet best practices and corporate policies
- Ensure human-in-the-loop decision making, explainability, transparency, and monitoring where applicable
- Use data, analytics, experimentation results, and AI insights to continuously evaluate and optimize product performance
- Document requirements as user stories and translate business needs into technical terms for Engineering alignment
- Validate artifacts such as requirement documents, build tasks, and design documents to address value, viability, feasibility, and usability risks upfront
- Participate in annual and quarterly release planning, guiding direction and prioritization
- Manage time effectively to cover discovery, requirements, design, and architecture throughout the product lifecycle
- Act as the product owner for the scrum team, planning work and resolving in-sprint issues
- Prioritize ruthlessly to support a continuously refined roadmap and backlog while balancing client and stakeholder needs
- Maintain the backlog to support health, including escalating feature or bug requests for upcoming sprints
- Serve as the day-to-day contact for requirement clarifications and drive refinement ceremonies
- Perform functional testing and confirm sprint demos to ensure delivering quality software
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to align with long-term roadmaps and deliver aligned outcomes
- Coordinate with marketing and operations to respond to RFIs with market and product perspectives
- Model Origami Risk values such as prioritizing clients’ trust and success, innovating with an entrepreneurial spirit, and collaborating to win as a team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in technology, business, liberal arts, science, or engineering
- 5+ years of Product Management experience, including owning a product roadmap and driving Agile processes
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking with meticulous attention to detail
- Business acumen to identify opportunities, facilitate strategic planning, and influence with data storytelling
- Ability to balance short-term needs with long-term strategy
- Proven relationship-building skills and ability to influence stakeholders and team members
- Exceptional verbal and written communication across all organizational levels
- Experience overseeing all or part of the product development lifecycle
- Experience working in Agile methodologies and on agile teams
- Prior EHS experience is strongly preferred
