Job Description

Work on early-stage product initiatives inside Salesforce’s Emerging Technology team, part of Digital Enterprise Technology (DET). This is a 0-to-1 product engine where you’ll shape what to build, test it with real signals, and help bring production-ready MVPs to life on aggressive timelines.

This role is based in New York, NY (onsite) and offers USD 148,500 - 223,900 per year. You’ll join a team that expects growth and hands-on problem solving, with senior PMs partnering closely to help you level up.

What you’ll do

  • Own new product initiative work end-to-end, starting with problem framing and taking it through delivery, while working alongside senior PMs who support your development.
  • Lead rapid prototyping and experimentation, validating concepts using data, customer feedback, and scrappy testing before committing to full builds.
  • Convert ambiguous challenges into actionable product requirements and user stories for engineering and design.
  • Run customer research, synthesize insights, and use them to inform the roadmap.
  • Collaborate across product, design, engineering, and operations to ship production-ready MVPs on aggressive timelines.
  • Monitor emerging technology trends and bring fresh perspectives to help identify the next opportunity.
  • Maintain product roadmaps, write detailed specs, and define success metrics to measure whether efforts are working.

What you bring

  • 3-6 years of product management experience, in an enterprise or startup setting.
  • A builder mindset: genuine interest in building new things, energized by ambiguity, prototyping independently, tinkering with new tools, and using constraints creatively.
  • Hands-on, daily use of AI tools such as Claude Code and Cursor to draft specs, analyze data, prototype solutions, and speed up workflow, plus enough understanding of how LLMs work to know when to trust outputs and when not to.
  • Exposure to or strong curiosity about emerging technologies, data-driven products, or innovative platforms.
  • An execution mindset to turn rough direction into a plan teams can act on.
  • Strong communication and collaboration across diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • Customer-focused thinking, including the ability to learn, gather, synthesize, and act on user insights.
  • Comfort operating in highly matrixed, resource-constrained environments.

Tools you’ll use

  • Claude Code
  • Cursor
  • LLMs

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision
  • Mental health support
  • Paid parental leave

Preferred qualifications

  • Direct experience shipping an MVP or 0-to-1 product in a resource-constrained team.
  • Familiarity with experimentation frameworks or lightweight research methods for validating product hypotheses.
  • A related technical degree required.
