Product Manager II- Consumer Card Servicing
Job Description
PNC Financial Services Group is hiring a Product Manager II within its Retail Lending organization in Pittsburgh for an in-office role focused on debit card servicing experiences. In this position, you will act as the Debit Card Client Servicing Journey Owner, shaping the end-to-end strategy, monitoring journey health, and guiding how assigned journeys evolve over time.
You will translate client and colleague needs, business objectives, data and research, operational learnings, and legal, risk, and compliance considerations into a prioritized journey strategy that supports measurable improvements across the debit card experience.
What you will do
- Own the end-to-end Journey Strategy for assigned debit card client servicing journeys, serving as the accountable business owner across the full journey.
- Define and maintain the journey current-state and aspirational future-state, including key client needs, pain points, moments that matter, colleague experiences, operational dependencies, and business objectives.
- Set journey strategy, priorities, objectives, success measures, and multi-year evolution roadmaps.
- Continuously assess journey health and identify opportunities to improve client experience, colleague experience, efficiency, risk outcomes, and business performance.
- Ensure journey strategies stay aligned with broader debit card, servicing, digital, and enterprise strategies.
- Own journey-related issues through the proper risk and issues process to completion.
- Review, analyze, and potentially lead initiatives involving the selection, design, development, and promotion of new or existing products using traditional and emerging technology, operations, and data analytics.
- Participate in customer-focused quality assessments and improvement processes, and use emerging technology knowledge to develop business cases, business plans, and rollouts for less complex products or initiatives across applicable channels.
- Analyze product, technology, and market trends and third-party requirements to design innovative features or enhancements, and manage development, production, rollout, pricing, or promotion for less complex products and initiatives.
- Work with internal and external partners such as sales, marketing, digital channel delivery, and may participate in client-facing activities throughout the product lifecycle.
- Support risk management, compliance, and audit needs as necessary as part of first-line-of-defense responsibilities.
- Monitor and analyze business results for recently introduced or existing products, coordinate reporting, and recommend changes to improve results, including modifications to product features and/or marketing.
What you bring
- 3+ years of relevant or direct industry experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Business objectives, customer solutions, marketing, product development, product management, and sales
- Business acumen, collaboration, competitive environment awareness, decision making and critical thinking
- Design thinking and effective communications
- Emerging technologies, innovation, knowledge of product line, and problem solving
- Producing results and solutions development
- Certifications are often desired
Compensation and benefits
Base salary: $75,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year. This role is incentive eligible, with payment based on company, business, and/or individual performance.
