Product Manager, Investigations
Job Description
SpyCloud is building Investigations capabilities that help teams move from leads to answers faster, with AI and automation designed around real investigative workflows. As a hands-on Product Manager for the Investigations product line, you will own key capabilities end to end, aligning customer needs with delivery across Engineering, Design, Data Science, and customer-facing teams.
This role is based in Austin, TX and requires onsite presence. The base salary range for the position is USD 115,000 - 150,000 per year, with support for shipping complex, technical product work in an enterprise environment.
What you will do
- Own backlog management and delivery for assigned Investigations capabilities, working within the portfolio strategy set by the Principal PM and Director.
- Ship AI, machine learning, and automation features that reduce manual effort in investigative workflows, partnering with Data Science from problem framing through model evaluation and launch.
- Build a practical understanding of how customers investigate, including the data they pivot on, the questions they need answered, and where workflows break down.
- Run discovery for your areas through customer interviews, usability testing, and competitive analysis, translating findings into clear requirements, epics, and user stories.
- Lead agile execution with Engineering, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, acceptance criteria, and release readiness.
- Partner with SpyCloud Labs and the Investigations team to turn SpyCloud’s cybercrime data and analytic models into capabilities customers can use directly.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Solutions Engineering on launches, including release notes, enablement, demos, and early adoption.
- Represent your product areas in customer and prospect conversations and act as the internal product expert.
- Make tradeoff calls on customer requests, technical debt, and new capabilities within scope, and bring larger tradeoffs to the Principal PM and Director with a clear recommendation.
- Ensure feature consistency across the Investigations UI and programmatic interfaces including API, MCP, and A2A, in partnership with the Principal PM who owns portfolio cohesion.
- Stay current on developments in AI, threat intelligence, fraud, identity, and digital investigations, bringing relevant opportunities back to the team.
Qualifications
