Product Manager, Standalone Apps

Meta is seeking a Product Manager for Standalone Apps to own strategy and roadmap, turning vision into actionable plans and guiding cross-functional execution to ship an early version and measure impact. Responsibilities

• Define the strategy and roadmap for major areas of the Standalone Apps product
• Determine what to build and why, translating vision into clear, shippable plans
• Lead cross-functional execution with engineering, design, and data teams to deliver an early version and assess impact
• Utilize research and data to uncover opportunities, set goals, and measure outcomes
• Make crisp prioritization decisions in a fast, ambiguous environment
• Communicate direction and progress clearly to the team and to leadership

Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience for consumer products
• Proven track record of shipping products and driving measurable impact
• Strong product judgment, data fluency, and the ability to lead through influence
• Experience owning a product area end to end
• Experience building a product from the ground up
• Experience implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
• Comfort working closely with ML and ranking on the core experience
• Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize workflows and drive measurable impact (efficiency gains, quality improvements)
• Experience with content, discovery, community, social, or creator products
