Product Mgr III - Tech - AMZ26904.1

Amazon Web Services, a global leader in cloud infrastructure, is seeking a Product Mgr III - Tech to drive the strategy, roadmaps, and lifecycle of its technology products from Austin, Texas. This role partners with UX designers and software engineers to translate market opportunities into concrete features and measurable adoption, ensuring that product decisions align with business goals and customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Articulate a clear product strategy and corresponding roadmaps, detailing short-, mid-, and long-term features to realize the vision.
• Secure cross-team buy-in for the strategy and roadmap through collaborative planning, thorough documentation, and constructive negotiation.
• Gather, research, and specify product and business requirements; draft detailed functional specs; coordinate scoping, scheduling, and deployment of new features and opportunities for targeted market segments.
• Oversee the complete product lifecycle, from initial customer research and strategic planning to launch, adoption, and ongoing feedback.
• Collaborate with UX designers and software developers to deliver products aligned with the roadmap.
• Interpret data and trends to support management decisions, policy development, and related managerial activities.
• Identify and address strategic issues that could hinder meeting goals across financial, technical, and strategic dimensions.
• Create tools to enhance sales effectiveness and uncover opportunities to increase success.
• Develop marketing campaigns to raise awareness and drive product adoption.

Requirements

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, with two years of applicable experience; alternatively, a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent with five years of relevant experience.
• One year of experience owning and driving end-to-end product requirements across multiple teams.
• One year of experience prioritizing complex deliverables, understanding technical concepts, managing trade-offs, and leading meetings with technical and business leaders.
• One year of experience using data to manage metrics, drive process improvements, and implement business cases.
• One year of experience in software product management, preferably for consumer-facing products.
• One year of experience with product roadmap planning, feature requirements generation, and go-to-market planning and execution.
