Product Operations Lead
Job Description
Own day-to-day product operations for the store by turning store product strategy into accurate inventory execution and a strong guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Partner with store leadership to bring store product strategy to life through product operations
- Plan, prioritize, manage, and lead inventory processing and accuracy activities aligned to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Drive execution of product actions, including pull backs, consolidations, and repricing
- Create a fun, productive shift environment to engage team members in inventory management
- Monitor product levels and communicate insights to support sell-through strategy and optimal product availability
- Review and interpret daily business data and metrics to inform actions (including analyzing product sell-through to recommend product focus; for outlets, support with pricing recommendations)
- Participate in hiring activities, including recruitment, selection, hiring recommendations, onboarding, and training
- Support team performance through direct feedback, real-time recognition, coaching, demonstrations, and hands-on learning
- Build a respectful and inclusive team environment by establishing supportive working relationships
- When scheduled as Supervisor on Duty during open hours, move dynamically across the floor and lead from the floor to provide technical product education to every guest and establish a world-class guest experience
Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the country where the store is located
- Ability to travel to the assigned store using reliable transportation methods
- 1 year of work experience
- Some experience with inventory management, product or visual merchandising, stocking, or planning and logistics using business technology to complete work
- Some experience leading, mentoring, delegating, or implementing processes with others
Schedule and availability
- Schedule can vary based on store needs
- Shifts are typically scheduled mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- During peak timeframes, special events, or other circumstances, schedules may include early mornings or late nights or overnights for some team members
Nice to have (Job Assets)
- High school diploma/GED/equivalent or above
- Experience in retail, sales, distribution center, or warehouse operations, plus reviewing and interpreting business reports and metrics to inform action
- For experiential stores with food or beverage service only: food safety and/or liquor service certification
Work context
- Move through the store; front of house may include bright lights and loud music, while back of house may have no windows or natural light
- Work as part of a team and at times independently; may use a computer or other technical devices
- Occasional physical requirements may include moving boxes up to 30 lbs (13.6 kg) and using ladders to reach materials
- For experiential stores with food or beverage service only: may use industrial kitchen equipment and be exposed to heat to prepare food or beverages
Compensation and benefits
- Location: Los Angeles, CA (onsite)
- Job type: Contract
- Base pay range: USD 24–30 per hour
- Pay range details: $24.50–$28.25/hour, subject to local minimum wage
- Target bonus: $2.00/hour
- Total target base pay range: $26.50–$30.25/hour
