Job Description

Lululemon is hiring a Product Operations Lead to help execute the store product strategy through inventory management and back of house (BOH) operations. In this onsite contract role in Friendswood, TX, you will keep product operations accurate and moving while also supporting a guest experience when scheduled on the floor or serving as Supervisor on Duty.

What you’ll do

  • Partner with store leadership to bring product strategy to life across inventory and BOH operations.
  • Plan, prioritize, manage, and lead inventory processing and accuracy activities in line with store standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure execution of product actions such as pull backs, consolidations, and repricing.
  • Create a fun, productive shift atmosphere that engages team members in inventory management.
  • Monitor product levels and communicate findings to support sell-through strategy and optimal product availability for guests.
  • Review and interpret daily business data and metrics to inform actions, including recommendations to store leadership on product focus and, for outlets, pricing.
  • Support the store hiring process, including recruitment, selection, hiring recommendations, onboarding, and training.
  • Address team performance through direct feedback, recognition, coaching, demonstrations, and hands-on learning.
  • Contribute to a respectful and inclusive team environment by building supportive working relationships.
  • When serving as Supervisor on Duty during store open hours, move dynamically through the store and lead from the floor to deliver technical product education and a world-class guest experience.

Compensation & perks

  • Base Pay Range: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour (contract)
  • Target Bonus: $2.00/hour

Schedule & availability

  • Schedule varies based on store needs.
  • Shifts are typically scheduled for mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • During peak timeframes, special events, or other circumstances, some team members may work early mornings or late nights/overnights.

Required experience

  • Minimum 1 year of work experience
  • Some experience with inventory management, product or visual merchandising, stocking, or planning and logistics, including using business technology to complete work
  • Some experience leading, mentoring, delegating, or implementing processes with others

Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the country where the store is located.
  • Ability to travel to the assigned store with reliable transportation methods.

Nice to have

  • High school diploma/GED/equivalent or above
  • Retail, sales, distribution center, or warehouse operations experience; reviewing and interpreting business reports and metrics to inform action
  • For Experiential stores with food/beverage service only: food safety and/or liquor service certification

Work context

  • Move through the store, sometimes in front of house with bright lights and loud music, and sometimes in back of house with no windows or natural light.
  • Work is completed as part of a team, sometimes independently, and may involve using a computer or other technical devices.
  • Occasionally move boxes up to 30 lbs (13.6 kg) and use ladders to reach materials.
  • For Experiential stores with food/beverage service only: exposure to heat and use of industrial kitchen equipment may be required.
