Product Operations Lead

Job Description

The Product Operations Lead is part of the store leadership team, focused on executing the store product strategy through effective product operations and inventory management. This role combines hands-on execution with leadership responsibilities to support store performance and deliver a world-class guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with store leadership to bring the product strategy to life through daily execution.
  • Plan, prioritize, manage, and lead inventory processing and accuracy activities in alignment with established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure product actions are completed as needed, including pull backs, consolidations, and repricing.
  • Create a fun and productive shift environment that actively engages team members in inventory management.
  • Monitor product levels and share findings to support sell-through strategy and maintain optimal product availability for guests.
  • Review and interpret daily business data and metrics to guide store actions, such as analyzing product sell-through data to recommend product focus to store leadership and, for outlets, informing pricing decisions.
  • Participate in the store hiring process, including recruitment, selection, hiring recommendations, onboarding, and training.
  • Support performance and growth by providing direct feedback, recognition, coaching, demonstrations, and hands-on learning experiences.
  • Build a respectful and inclusive team environment by establishing supportive working relationships with team members.
  • When serving as Supervisor on Duty during store open hours, move throughout the store and lead from the floor to ensure guests receive technical product education and a world-class experience.

Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the country where the store is located.
  • Ability to travel to the assigned store using reliable transportation methods.
  • Schedule can vary based on store needs.
  • Typical shifts may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • During peak timeframes, special events, or other circumstances, some team members may work early mornings or late nights/overnights.
  • Some experience with inventory management, product or visual merchandising, stocking, or planning and logistics, including using business technology to complete work.
  • Some experience leading, mentoring, delegating, or implementing processes with others.

Compensation & Benefits Package

Base Pay Range: $22.00 - $25.25/hour (subject to minimum wage in the location).

Target Bonus: $2.00/hour.

Total Target Base Pay Range: $24.00 - $27.25/hour.

Work Context

  • Work involves moving through the store, sometimes in front of house areas with bright lights and loud music, and sometimes in back of house spaces with no windows or natural light.
  • Work is completed as part of a team, at times independently, and may require use of a computer or other technical devices.
  • May occasionally involve moving boxes weighing up to 30 lbs (13.6 kg) or using ladders to reach materials.
  • For experiential stores with food/beverage service only: may involve using industrial kitchen equipment and exposure to heat when preparing food or beverages.

Job Assets (Nice to Have)

  • Education: High school diploma/GED/equivalent or above.
  • Experience, not necessarily the only focus: retail, sales, distribution center, or warehouse operations related work, including reviewing and interpreting business reports and metrics to inform action.
  • For experiential stores with food/beverage service only: food safety and/or liquor service certification.
