Job Description

Sirona Medical is building product and clinical workflow capabilities in a regulated environment, and this role helps teams work better together. As a Product Operations Lead (onsite in the United States), you’ll shape the product and engineering operating cadence by improving ceremonies, estimation, and review/approval checkpoints so teams can execute effectively. The work is consultative and focuses on process, not owning roadmap priorities or managing execution status reporting.

What you’ll help improve

  • Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering leads to evaluate and evolve working ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, retros, and similar sessions
  • Facilitate key product development ceremonies and bring structural improvement options to leadership rather than making unilateral changes
  • Continuously check in with teams on what’s working and guide collaborative adjustments as needs change
  • Shape a shared estimation approach with Engineering and Product leadership that matches how teams actually work
  • Bring historical metrics (velocity, cycle time, estimate-vs-actual) into planning conversations to support ongoing estimation calibration
  • Collaborate with teams to design a clearer intake process
  • Coordinate cross-functional conversations (Product, Design, Engineering, and QA leadership) to clarify review and approval checkpoints across the development process
  • Surface and resolve ambiguity around approvers, consults, and informed parties at each checkpoint by proposing options for alignment
  • Maintain lightweight tracking, built with the teams, so work status stays visible without constant follow-ups

How you’ll support execution through process

  • Act as a process-focused thought partner across Product, Design, and Engineering, identifying where handoffs feel unclear and working with teams to improve them
  • Help refine the tooling that supports agreed-upon processes (Jira, Linear, Notion, or similar) in collaboration with the teams using it
  • Provide process-level observations such as cycle time, ceremony health, and bottleneck patterns for the Director of Product and Engineering leads, separate from roadmap or execution status reporting
  • Potentially assist with coordination and management of clinical development partners and customer development partners, along with other product operations duties as assigned
  • Work with the Product Documentation Lead on internal and external enablement, including early adopter or beta program activities, to align feedback and readiness with the broader product process

What you bring

  • 4-6 years of experience in product management/operations, program/project management, or a similar process-facilitation role within a product or engineering organization
  • Experience facilitating agile ceremonies, estimation practices, or review/approval conversations
  • A strong collaborator who can operate across Product, Design, and Engineering without formal authority over any of them, relying on trust and influence
  • Comfort working with product and engineering tooling to support team-agreed processes, including Jira, Airfocus, Asana, or similar
  • Strong listening and systems thinking to support group consensus rather than a predetermined outcome
  • Comfort in a regulated, clinical, or enterprise B2B environment (healthcare or health IT strongly preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the judgment to support or lead conversations appropriately

Tools you’ll use

  • Jira, Linear, Notion, Airfocus, Asana

Benefits

  • Competitive salaries
  • Stock
  • Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • Medical, dental, vision insurance
  • Life insurance
  • Maternity and Paternity Leave
  • 401(k) matching
  • Apple equipment
  • Sponsorship for conferences, continuing education

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with radiology, PACS/RIS, medical imaging, or clinical workflow software
  • Experience coordinating with external technical partners on scoping or scheduling collaborative work
  • Scrum Master, PMP, or similar process/delivery certification
