Product Operations Manager
Job Description
Glimpse is looking for a Product Operations Manager to own how recovery performance is tracked, analyzed, and fed back into product improvements. In this onsite role in New York, NY, you’ll work across customers, operations, product, and engineering to ensure recovery outcomes and product quality move forward together. The focus is on turning deduction and recovery data into practical insights, then closing the loop with prioritized improvements that affect real results.
What you’ll do
- Own recovery tracking and outcomes: Monitor the full deduction-to-recovery pipeline across accounts, including shortage and other deduction types, and track key metrics such as recovery rate, dispute win rate, deductions as a percentage of revenue, time to resolution, and revenue at risk from approaching dispute windows.
- Turn data into insight: Deep-dive into recovery and deduction data to surface patterns, including which retailers, deduction reasons, or claim types are underperforming, where valid disputes are slipping past dispute windows, and where the largest recovery opportunities are.
- Build dashboards and reporting narratives: Create dashboards, reporting, and quantified narratives that make findings clear to both customers and internal teams.
- Close the loop back to product: Identify gaps in how agents classify deductions, match backup documentation, and queue disputes, then translate those gaps into prioritized, well-scoped product requirements. Partner with product and engineering to deliver improvements and confirm they move the numbers.
- Sharpen the operational playbook: Standardize and document how recovery work gets done, including workflows, exception handling, and quality checks to keep agent output accurate and customers confident. Look for manual, repetitive steps that can be automated next.
- Serve as a trusted partner: Work with customer-facing teams to explain recovery performance to enterprise accounts, answer “why did this happen,” and set expectations with senior stakeholders. Bring the operational reality of enterprise accounts into planning conversations with product, engineering, and leadership.
What you bring
- 4+ years in product operations, revenue operations, strategy/consulting, analytics, program management, or a comparable data-heavy operational role.
- Strong data skills: Able to pull, clean, and analyze data directly (SQL and/or advanced spreadsheets required; BI tools a plus), and convert analysis into clear recommendations.
- A track record of action: Finding the “why” behind the numbers and turning insights into execution, not only reporting.
- Excellent communication: Strong written and verbal communication to simplify a complex recovery story for customers and keep it precise for engineers.
- High organization and self-direction: Comfortable operating in an early, fast-moving environment where processes may not yet exist.
- Cross-functional fluency: Comfortable working across customers, operations, product, and engineering, and translating between them.
