Product Operations Specialist
Job Description
Ramp is building operating systems that help customers move from onboarding to first spend smoothly. In this hybrid role in New York, NY (HQ) and San Francisco, CA, you will help identify what is slowing customers down, connect customer signals to root causes, and prioritize operational fixes that reduce friction. You will also improve Product Operations processes and use AI tools to strengthen release management and ship improvements.
What you’ll do
- Deliver holistic Product Operations across the onboarding experience, including program management, customer testing, launch readiness, change management, and iteration
- Work with Product, Engineering, Design, Data, CX, Sales, CSM, and Operations to turn customer feedback into clear requirements, operating plans, and shipped improvements
- Find and resolve setup and onboarding issues spanning login, invites, provisioning, multi-entity setup, policies, cards, and first spend
- Create scalable operating cadences that improve cross-team alignment, release readiness, customer communication, and accountability
- Use AI to automate processes, improve analysis, and directly deliver product or workflow improvements that make onboarding and setup easier
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years in product operations, product management, program management, consulting, customer success, account management, or a customer-facing analytical role supporting B2B SaaS
- Experience using data to size opportunities, diagnose root causes, analyze support trends, and confirm whether product or operational changes reduce customer friction
- Strong customer judgment, including the ability to understand onboarding, setup, access, identity, and spend-management friction from both customer and internal-team perspectives
- Ability to translate qualitative feedback and complex cross-functional input into crisp requirements, prioritized action plans, and durable operating processes
- Comfort operating in ambiguous, technically complex areas and bringing clarity across Product, Engineering, CX, Sales, CSM, Data, and Operations
- Strong problem solving, prioritization, and communication skills, with a bias to ship improvements quickly and measure impact
- Experience using AI tools to accelerate analysis, automate workflows, enable teams, or drive direct product and process improvements
