Job Description

Remote work is included with a competitive annual salary of USD 138,800, along with comprehensive benefits. As a Product Owner for Federal and Public Sector at World Wide Technology, you will shape and deliver products within a CMMC Level 2 compliant environment, bridging business needs, IT delivery, and Security & Compliance. This role carries budget ownership and roadmap stewardship across multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Articulate and continuously refine the product vision for WWT's Federal and Public Sector portfolios within a CMMC Level 2 framework, aligning with PubSec/Federal goals and IT priorities.
  • Keep a living, iterative product roadmap current, incorporating evolving requirements from Product Management, business units, and IT stakeholders.
  • Craft short, mid, and long term roadmaps for strategic initiatives, clearly communicating priorities and proactively adjusting timelines with stakeholders.
  • Own the value delivered and budget needs for the Federal/Public Sector product area, balancing impact with cost to maximize outcomes.
  • Provide technology thought leadership related to the product to sustain business continuity and drive innovation for stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain enduring relationships with Federal/Public Sector leadership, IT delivery teams, and Security & Compliance; act as the primary bridge between business needs, technical constraints, and compliance guardrails.
  • Continuously assess gaps between PubSec/Federal user experience and commercial capabilities; translate friction points into backlog items with clear business justification.
  • Lead governance and operating model for the Federal/Public Sector product area, participate in the User Experience Steering Committee, and deliver transparent status updates to cross-functional teams.
  • Leverage data and metrics to guide prioritization and decisions, focusing on user satisfaction, compliant workflow efficiency, and measurable gains in tool adoption and usage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Arts/Sciences or Information Systems preferred.
  • At least three years of progressive experience in a related field.
  • At least three years of experience working directly with business stakeholders.
  • Experience in Federal or Public Sector IT or a regulated/compliance-driven environment (for example CMMC, FedRAMP, FISMA).
  • Experience managing or supporting technology initiatives for teams operating under CMMC Level 2, FedRAMP, or similar frameworks (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft GCC High tenant, differences between GCC High and commercial capabilities, or Microsoft 365 enterprise environments (preferred).
  • Familiarity with FedRAMP-certified product offerings and related feature availability differences (preferred).
  • Knowledge of SAFe agile development principles is desirable.
  • Strong business analysis skills and the ability to create gap analyses and user story maps.
  • Proven ability to manage, justify, and present a budget aligned to the team's strategy.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with business and IT teams to develop shared goals and product vision.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-deliverable environment and deliver projects on time while balancing scope, dates, and resources.
  • Strong commitment to exceeding customer expectations and mapping IT activities to measurable business value.
  • Leadership with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency, plus excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills for senior stakeholders.
