Product Owner
Job Description
Power Home Remodeling is seeking a Product Owner to represent stakeholders, sponsors, and users within Nitro's development process, focusing on maximizing business value by prioritizing objectives and removing obstacles. This onsite role in King of Prussia partners with the Scrum Master to lead the scrum team and translate stakeholder needs into epics and user stories.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the product lifecycle from strategic planning and ideation to implementation and launch.
- Develop and execute plans to enhance existing products and introduce new offerings to drive revenue and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and the Scrum team to define use cases, gather requirements, and prioritize features.
- Maintain a well defined backlog of epics and stories, coordinating with executives and department heads to implement approved products.
- Translate stakeholder business requirements into epics and stories for development teams.
- Lead backlog grooming sessions to prioritize stories and epics across features, architecture, and non-functional requirements.
- Track and execute product roadmaps, development schedules, and component designs.
- Represent business stakeholders on the Scrum team.
- Collaborate with UX teams to ensure designs support business workflows and Nitro standards.
- Monitor competitors and analyze significant market changes.
- Manage the overall project plan to meet product release timelines.
- Engage with users to gather feedback and integrate it into the design cycle.
- Plan and deliver ongoing in-house product training for multiple audiences.
- Conduct targeted topic trainings to support business needs and projects.
- Develop a deep understanding of goals, priorities, differentiators, customer needs, and industry trends to identify new feature opportunities.
- Provide a weekly status update on assigned products.
- Validate new features by testing across all environments.
Requirements
- Strong leadership capability demonstrated through knowledge, talent, and technical experience.
- Excellent coaching style with strong communication and presentation skills.
- 4+ years of experience in a medium or large-scale enterprise environment.
- Experience collaborating with C-level executives and business leaders.
- Experience applying Agile principles with a prioritized, pragmatic approach to ensure timely delivery of the right product.
- Experience with both remote and local development teams is a plus.
