Product Owner
Job Description
The Product Owner at Resolution Life is responsible for owning and prioritizing the team backlog, representing the voice of the customer, delivering business value, and leading a team of Product Owners to advance agile practices across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Own and refine the team and product backlog, prioritizing work and making trade-offs to maximize value.
- Manage a backlog of deliverables and experimentation efforts to define and refine future features, measure performance, and adjust the roadmap as needed.
- Set an ambitious strategy, craft a clear product vision, and translate it into specific feature strategies and roadmaps; communicate the strategy to stakeholders and the team.
- Act as the voice of the customer by understanding and responding to feedback, ensuring needs are defined, and that deliverables meet defined acceptance criteria.
- Serve as Scrum Master to facilitate agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.
- Monitor and review team metrics to inform decisions and drive performance improvements.
- Collaborate with other teams, business functions, and third-party vendors to align, sequence, and re-plan work in a dynamic environment.
- Support scaled agile ceremonies that enable cross-team prioritization, dependency management, and alignment with company strategy.
- Optimize value flow by defining and tracking objectives and key results (OKRs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) for teams and solutions.
- Inform business readiness and manage change adoption to mitigate resistance.
- Provide feedback on work in progress, clarify requirements, remove impediments, and pursue continuous team and process improvement.
- Partner with Leads and peers to secure resources needed to achieve defined business outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Five years of progressive experience in agile product management within the insurance industry, including at least two years of direct people management experience.
- Scrum Master and Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications.
- Advanced working knowledge of complex software and product development processes, including Vantage, Cobol, DB2, VSAM, Power BI, and AWS.
- Reporting to West Chester, PA – telecommuting permitted from EST/CST time zones.

Location
West Chester, PA (Hybrid - 2-3 days per week in the office).
Salary
USD 213,824 - 240,000 per yearly.
