Job Description
The Product Owner/Business Analyst at Eccalon LLC translates business requirements into clear product specifications, helps shape and maintain the product roadmap, and coordinates stakeholders to support successful Agile Scrum delivery. The role serves as a bridge between business needs and technology execution, with a focus on user-centered outcomes and product quality.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, customers, and development teams, to elicit and document product requirements and user stories.
- Work closely with the product management team to define and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Facilitate Agile execution by supporting backlog grooming, sprint planning, and prioritization to enable efficient delivery of high-quality products.
- Advocate for user-centered outcomes by conducting user research, analyzing user feedback, and contributing to design and optimization of user interfaces.
- Create and maintain product documentation, including functional specifications, user guides, and release notes, to support development, QA, and customer success.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (development, QA, design, and marketing) to align priorities, manage expectations, and drive successful product outcomes.
- Partner with QA to define acceptance criteria and support user acceptance testing, ensuring products meet customer expectations.
- Collaborate with business development, sales, marketing, and commercialization efforts to support presentation of the product to both public and private sector audiences in rapid development and deployment environments.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, propose solutions, implement enhancements, and contribute to strengthening the overall product development lifecycle.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in an Agile environment.
- Ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and translate them into actionable requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and build consensus.
- Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience with Agile tools such as JIRA and Trello.
- Familiarity with UX principles, wireframing tools, and usability testing (plus).
- Knowledge of software development processes and SDLC, with experience working closely with development teams.
- Detail-oriented mindset focused on delivering high-quality products within time and budget constraints.
- Expert level experience with content design and layout, graphics, and engineering concepts.
