Product Owner - Digital Services
Job Description
CorTech is hiring a Product Owner for Digital Services to guide agile product development within a program aimed at modernizing all client-facing digital channels. The onsite role in New York City centers on redesigning or re-platforming the website, mobile site, and apps, with compensation at $85 per hour and a requirement for a Bachelor's degree.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Digital Services Team on the Digital Customer Experience initiative, driving a redesign or re-platform of all digital channels for the NYC client.
- Own the product and feature roadmap, backlog prioritization, and delivery for an agile team within the program.
- Plan, execute, monitor, and report on risks and issues using both traditional and Agile methods.
- Track team velocity and sprint or release progress across affected teams using Agile estimation techniques.
- Oversee one or more agile pods from a business perspective and provide project management leadership.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, grooming, and sprint and release planning.
- Analyze business requirements to define high-level epics and stories and create a prioritized Product Backlog.
- Craft clear user stories driven by the voice of the customer to deliver business value.
- Group related user stories and epics into themes and document interdependencies and business process flows as needed.
- Ensure daily task status and hours are updated in Azure DevOps or other Agile tracking systems to maintain backlog transparency.
- Develop and maintain project plans, resource utilization schedules, and budget materials.
- Research and analyze business trends, forecasts, and benchmarks related to web, mobile, and app use and development.
- Translate business and technical requirements for key projects and changes tied to the redesign of the digital channels.
- Conduct testing for changes to processes and systems, including detailed test plans and cases, execution, results documentation, and issue resolution with stakeholders.
- Support a customer-centric culture and address the needs of external and internal stakeholders.
- Establish work plans, coordinate meetings, assign tasks, manage resources, prepare status reports, and monitor budgets and staffing.
- Perform other related tasks and contribute to program improvements across governance and intake processes.
Requirements
- Experience in agile project management or customer experience management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Proven experience leading an agile product development team as a Product Owner.
- Knowledge of Client Customer Operations.
- Prior management experience with employees or contractors.
- Experience with SAFe program management and transformation.
- Experience with Web Accessibility guidelines and compliance.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
