Job Description

Clarivate is hiring a Product Owner (IP) to support the Compumark Online Search product organization. In this role, you’ll help drive delivery and ongoing maintenance of global IP office search systems built on Clarivate technology, while working closely with end users, internal stakeholders, and commercial teams.

This is a hybrid position based in Ann Arbor, MI, with collaboration across government IP offices and law firms to shape what the product prioritizes next.

What you will do

  • Partner with the Product Director to support delivery and ongoing maintenance of Global IP office search systems powered by Clarivate technology
  • Interface regularly with end users at government IP offices and law firms, capturing and distilling feedback into product roadmap priorities
  • Contribute to maintaining system security certifications including FedRAMP and Soc2 type 2
  • Support sales and marketing with product demos, client queries, and assistance drafting RFI/RFP responses
  • Help manage the product backlog and roadmap as product needs evolve

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience across product management, product ownership, business analysis, and similar roles
  • US Citizenship and the ability to pass a US Government e-QIP

It would be great if you also had

  • Prior work experience or education in the intellectual property industry
  • Experience using product development and business analysis tools including Jira, Power BI, Postman, Pendo, and/or Elasticsearch
  • Familiarity with security frameworks for cloud service solutions including FedRAMP, Soc2, CSA Star, and related frameworks
  • A strong eye for user interface design and experience with mockup tools like Figma
  • Familiarity with government procurement processes and experience drafting RFI/RFP materials
  • Fluency in a language other than English to support a global client base

Location and work schedule

  • Full-time role working primarily during core business hours in the US Eastern time zone, with flexibility to coordinate with global colleagues and clients
  • Hybrid schedule working 2-3 days per week in the Alexandria, VA office

Compensation (US only)

  • Expected base salary: $80,000 - $105,000 USD per year
  • Individual pay is based upon experience, education, skill and ability, expertise, and relevant factors

Education requirement: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
