Job Description

HYDAC Technology Corporation seeks a Sales Engineer / Product Manager for Filters and Elements to own the lifecycle of this product family. This on-site role in Bethlehem, PA focuses on meeting or exceeding the annual sales and profit goals for the Product Group while coordinating product activities, training, sales and applications support, documentation, and stocking coordination for HYDAC.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve or surpass the annual sales and profitability targets for the Product Group.
  • Oversee core product activities, including delivering product training.
  • Provide sales and applications support.
  • Prepare and maintain product and cost documentation.
  • Coordinate stocking requirements.
  • Demonstrate strong sales acumen.
  • Support Application Engineering and Field Sales (Distributors and Regional Sales Managers).
  • Lead distributor, RSM, and customer-service training initiatives.
  • Recommend new products or modifications.
  • Recommend and monitor stock levels.
  • Develop and refresh product literature and publicity for new offerings.
  • Coordinate participation in trade shows.
  • Create and deliver product presentations, reports, and plans.
  • Manage product and customer-related projects.
  • Adapt to other assigned duties.
  • Identify and resolve problems promptly.
  • Gather and analyze information effectively.
  • Develop alternative solutions.
  • Create and coordinate project plans.
  • Communicate changes and progress clearly.
  • Respond promptly to customer needs and requests for service and assistance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university with a technical focus (engineering preferred).
  • 3-5 years of related industrial experience.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
  • Self-starter and motivator.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation abilities.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with distributors, regional sales managers, and customers.
  • Clear and persuasive communicator in positive or challenging situations.
  • Clear and informative written communication.
