Scheduling Product Owner

Atlanta, GA Full time Posted 1h ago

Job Description

Delta Airlines is hiring a Scheduling Product Owner within Crew Resources Technology in Atlanta, GA (onsite). In this role, you will help shape the strategy and technical direction for current and future Crew Resources technology products, with a focus on strengthening the frontline employee experience as the team modernizes legacy capabilities.

What you’ll do

You will oversee one of Delta’s Crew Resources Technology products, including areas such as Legalities, Scheduling, Crew Tracking, Training, Payroll, and Planning/Bidding. This is end-to-end product ownership: understanding the business problem, identifying stakeholder needs, and developing solutions that deliver the right outcomes for both business and frontline users.

  • Collaborate with the Crew Strategy team to align end-user business and technology vision to actionable requirements.
  • Work directly with one or more IT development squads to create and maintain a backlog that supports robust, timely functionality.
  • Conduct station visits and employee engagement activities to support adoption, collect feedback, and assess operational technology needs across the network.
  • Manage device provisioning, deployment, and lifecycle support for new hire, return-to-work, and Initial Qualification Flight Attendants to support technology readiness and onboarding.
  • Build and maintain an executable product roadmap that balances business value, funding, cross-initiative dependencies, and development complexity.
  • Lead key phases of project management, including requirements gathering, development prioritization, and implementation strategy.
  • Prioritize across multiple stakeholders so IT teams are working on the right initiatives across DBMS, OSS, SAP, IFS Nova, and Crew360.
  • Write functional user stories with acceptance criteria to enable clear handoff to development.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies to provide direction and drive progress.
  • Model Delta’s Rules of the Road and core values, and practice safety-conscious behaviors in operational processes and procedures.

What you bring

  • 18+ years of age and authorization to work in the United States.
  • High school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Crew and/or IT Project/Product Ownership.
  • Ability to translate business vision into written requirements and build strong, executable plans for complex work.
  • Demonstrated track record managing products or complex projects, with curiosity and creative problem-solving.
  • Strong communication skills, including succinct and persuasive verbal presentations and logical responses to questions or alternative solutions.
  • Experience influencing diverse teams in a time-sensitive environment with minimal supervision.
  • Results orientation, attention to detail, and follow-through on commitments and deadlines.
  • Current knowledge of user experience best practices and new technology trends.
  • Must be performing satisfactorily in the present position (if transferring internally).

Preferred qualifications (optional advantage)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Business, Engineering, or Technology.
  • Experience in creation and design, or management of technology systems.
  • Prior experience as an agile product manager/owner.
  • Broad knowledge of Crew Resources, Flight Ops, or Inflight Service.

Technologies you may work with

  • DBMS, OSS, SAP, IFS Nova, Crew360

Benefits that help you keep climbing

  • Competitive salary, industry-leading profit sharing, and performance incentives.
  • 401(k) with generous company contributions up to 9%.
  • Up to 2 weeks of vacation for new hires (earned for use in the following vacation year: April 1–March 31).
  • Up to 56 hours of paid personal time within a 12-month period.
  • 10 paid holidays per calendar year.
  • Paid maternity/parental leave: 12 weeks for birthing parents and 2 weeks for non-birthing parents.
  • Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, vision, short/long term disability, and life insurance.
  • Family care assistance including fertility support, surrogacy and adoption assistance, lactation support, subsidized back-up care, and programs supporting loved ones at all life stages.
  • Holistic Wellbeing programs, including an employee assistance program, free financial coaching, and extensive resources supporting mental health.
  • Domestic and international space-available flight privileges for employees and eligible family members.
  • Career development programs aligned to long-term goals.
  • World-wide partnerships supporting community service and sustainability goals, including reducing carbon footprint.
  • Business Resource Groups to connect employees with common interests and support inclusion.
  • Recognition rewards and awards through Unstoppable Together.
  • Deltaperks discounts and voluntary benefits, including car and hotel rentals and auto, home, and pet insurance, legal services, and childcare.
