Senior Associate, Product Manager - Card Site Team

Senior Associate, Product Manager to join the Card Site Team on Capital One's credit card application and customer acquisition platform. This on-site role in Chicago focuses on building new capabilities and scalable architecture to support how applicants apply for credit cards, shaping the future of the acquisition flow. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to translate business needs into tangible features and robust product delivery.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a platform-focused product manager for the Card Site Team, developing new capabilities, next-generation features, and architectural support for future credit card applications.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define comprehensive acceptance criteria and identify opportunities for additional research to inform future feature design.
• Break down business epics into features and user stories, steering the team toward low-effort approaches or MVP releases for valid feature tests.
• Apply a growth mindset and hypothesis-driven analysis of data to ensure each feature delivers real business value.
• Own and prioritize feature roadmaps, ensuring processes are followed to manage risk and align with governance.
• Operate autonomously in an agile environment to research and develop features that leverage evolving technology.
• Partner with designers, technologists, data scientists, and subject-matter experts to deliver cutting-edge solutions for customers.
• Deliver well-managed product platforms by staying attuned to technology trends and architecture strategy.
• Engage in horizontal forums to cultivate trusted relationships with tech teams, designers, stakeholders, and partner groups.
• Communicate a concise product roadmap that delivers business value, share updates with stakeholders, and establish oneself as a product expert.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience
• At least 1 year of product management experience or 1 year of experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering
• 1+ years translating business strategy or analysis into consumer-facing digital products
• 1+ years of experience working on core product platforms powering digital experiences
• 1+ years working with cross-functional teams as a product owner in an agile development process

Salary

• Chicago, IL: $101,100 - $115,400 per year
• McLean, VA: $111,200 - $126,900 per year
• New York, NY: $121,300 - $138,400 per year

This role is eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives. The actual offer is determined by location and other factors.
