Senior Data Management Professional - Data Product Owner - OTC Pricing (Fixed Income)

Senior Data Management Professional within Bloomberg's OTC Fixed Income Pricing, based in New York, NY, with a salary range of USD 110,000 to 190,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Define and prioritize data driven strategies and targets to identify and source new datasets, with ongoing progress tracking toward these goals.
• Cultivate partnerships with key internal stakeholders and decision makers to understand their priorities and align initiatives accordingly.
• Ensure existing datasets are fit for purpose, accessible, and usable to maximize the return on onboarding content.
• Lead Data Quality initiatives aligned with evolving business priorities and market conditions.
• Manage budgets and costs related to third party content, optimizing commercial terms to maximize value for Bloomberg and customers.
• Oversee campaigns across OTC Pricing to mobilize the broader team of Relationship Managers and Technical Account Managers.
• Identify gaps in the product offering and expand coverage to accommodate new client use cases.
• Act as an ambassador for the fixed income content and represent the Content Acquisition team across the company.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, STEM, or an equivalent qualification.
• 4+ years of experience in financial markets with deep understanding of fixed income markets including market structure, current trends, and the competitive landscape.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across complex functions, geographies, and seniority levels.
• Proven ability to translate vision into measurable outcomes and actionable goals for regional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to drive cross regional execution, alignment, and strategic communication.
• Strategic approach with a bias for action, comfortable making decisions with imperfect information in fast moving markets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
